Donetsk, Jul 19 - DAN. An international forum over the Donbass situation involving European politicians and activists is planned in Paris, head of the DPR representative office in Marseille Gerald-Hubert Fayard said in an interview to the Donetsk News Agency.
“We have an idea to organise an international forum in Paris to address the situation in Donbass,” Fayard said. This project is in the works but I think that if we succeed, it will be a positive event involving politicians and activists from all over Europe in raising the Europeans’ awareness of Donbass.
DPR office staff actively work with the local population informing them about the true situation in the conflict zone. They also urge the community and politicians to recognise the Republic as a legal entity. Fayard believes that the DPR has all the required institutes of the legislative, executive and judicial branches of power.
“It is great honour for us to develop cooperation with the DPR authorities and create and implement joint projects in the economic, cultural, scientific and information spheres,” he added.
The DPR representative office was opened in a solemn ceremony in Marseille on September 25, 2017.*jk
