Donetsk, Jan 21 – DAN. DPR representatives are going to send a note to the OSCE SMM urging the organization to carry out a thorough investigation into a civilian bus shelling by Kiev forces which occurred today at the Elenovka checkpoint and resulted in a civilian death, said DPR envoy to the Minsk negotiations Denis Pushilin.
"Opening fire on a bus carrying civilians, killing and injuring innocent civilians is nothing but a criminal and brazen provocation. We are preparing a note to the OSCE SMM and Minsk talks coordinators containing the incident details and urging to carry out a thorough investigation into the tragedy to punish its perpetrators," he said.
Earlier on Sunday, at 1.20 p.m. Ukrainian army units used small arms to fire at a bus in the grey zone near the Elenovka checkpoint. One civilian sustained an injury incompatible with life, while another one was wounded. *ot
