Donetsk, Nov 23 – DAN. Progress in implementation political agenda of Minsk Agreements is hardly possible under the current Ukrainian regime, DPR delegation to Minsk talks head's press secretary said.

"Kiev's destructive position is based on Ukraine's unpreparedness to implement political agenda, according to DPR delegation to Minsk talks head Denis Pushilin. Political will and Ukraine's president and lawmakers' responsibility are required to fulfill the political articles of Minsk Agreements," she said. "Thus progress is hardly possible under the current authorities."

Talakina explained that key steps to put political aspects, approved by the Normandy Four leaders, into practice are a road map and the Steinmeier's formula implementation.

Steinmeier ‘s formula outlines the principles of implementation of the Ukrainian law “On local self-government order in certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk region”. According to the German Foreign Minister plan, the law should be enforced on the day of local elections on a temporary basis, and permanently upon OSCE publishing its report on the elections outcome. DPR has repeatedly urged to introduce a Protocol of the Minsk talks.
