Donetsk, Sep 24 - DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic delegates reached a preliminary agreement on preparing documents for mining projects in Syria, DPR Head Administration first deputy chief of staff Gennady Lebed said at conference on Tuesday following a DPR delegation’s visit to the Rebuild Syria international exhibition.

“We held preliminary talks over supply to Syria of oil production equipment, cables, compound feed, software and mineral fertilisers,” Lebed said. “We also reached tentative accords on the possibility to prepare project documents for Syria’s mining industry.”

He added that Syrian representatives were interested in the medical treatment opportunities for Syrian residents in the DPR. A 3D prosthetics joint venture was also discussed.

Damascus hosted the 5th Rebuild Syria exhibition and investment conference on September 17 - 21. The Damascus New Fairground City exhibition centre presented more than 300 Syrian and international companies from 35 countries including Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Venezuela, Germany, Greece, Denmark, the Donetsk People’s Republic, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Iraq, Iran, Spain, Italy, China, Cuba, Macedonia, Pakistan, the Russian Federation, Romania, Serbia, Tanzania, France and South Africa.*jk
