Donetsk, Jul 24 - DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic ombudswoman representing the DPP in the Contact Group’s humanitarian subgroup Darya Morozova said that she hoped that Kiev would present its official position on prisoner exchange at the upcoming talks in the Belarussian capital.

“The “all-for-all exchange of confirmed detianees remains the key issue of the humanitarian subgroup’s meeting in Minsk,” Morozova said ahead of the talks. “We have great expectations of this meeting.”

“It’s been a month since the previous meeting of the humanitarian subgroup, and we’ve been waiting for the Ukrainian side to decide on its official position,” she said.

The humanitarian subgroup will also discuss he return of documents to former detainees and the joint search for the missing etc. “I hope that the upcoming meeting will have a thorough discussion of the search mechanism. The road map for the issue has long been worked out,” the ombudswoman noted.

The Contact Group will meet for the next round of Donbass peace talks in Minsk on July 25.*jk
