Donetsk, Oct 4 – DAN. Another meeting of the political subgroup members in Minsk has yielded no substantial results, said DPR acting Foreign Minister Natalia Nikonorova.
"Today's talks were not fruitful, it was just another confirmation that Kiev is not into a political settlement," she said.
Nikonorova explained that Ukraine kept evading meaningful dialog despite the urgent need to negotiate the top issue on the agenda, the prolongation of the special status law.
"We attract everybody's attention to the fact that Ukraine openly sabotages the negotiations and ignores the only opportunity for today to settle the conflict by political means."
The next meeting of the Contact Group and its subgroups is scheduled for October 18. *ot
