Donetsk, May 25 — DAN. The “Single Customer in the Field of Construction” has hired more than 23,000 workers for Mariupol rebuilding projects, the press service of the state-owned company told the Donetsk News Agency on Thursday.
“To carry out repairs and rebuilding works in the city, ‘the Single Customer’ has enlisted more than 23,000 construction workers from the Donetsk People’s Republic, Russian regions and countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, ” the press service said.
The total strength of the workforce has been reported as of late May; it periodically varies.
Earlier reports said that the “Single Customer” had restored more than 150 apartment houses in the city and that repairs were underway on another 1,500. The company put up 25 buildings from scratch.*jk
