Donetsk, May 8 — DAN. Donetsk People’s Republic prosecutors have sent to the court a criminal case against a Ukrainian serviceman charged with shooting and killing a Mariupol resident in April 2022, the press service of the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office reported on Monday.

“The DPR Prosecutor’s Office has endorsed the indictment against Stanislav Dolyagin, 27, who served with a  74th Separate Reconnaissance Battalion grenadier unit, ” the press service said. “Investigators said that on April 14, 2022, Dolyagin stopped a man who was walking his dog in Sergey Lazo Street in Mariupol for ID check, and received an order by portable radio to eliminate the civilian.”

Dolyagin fired his automatic pistol at the man killing him outright. The case was referred to the DPR Supreme Court. The suspect is accused of hate murder and use of banned means and methods of warfare.*jk
