Donetsk, Aug 23 - DAN. The Joint Forces Operation command plans to recommend the Ukrainian Defence Ministry to ban sale of alcohol to Ukrainian servicemen in Donbass, Donetsk People’s Republic Operations Command spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Thursday.
“According to our information, the Joint Forces Operation command is drawing proposals to the Ukrainian Defence Ministry General Staff for subsequent referral to (Ukrainian President Petr) Poroshenko on banning the sale of all alcoholic beverages in the conflict zone,” Bezsonov said.
The JFO command is taking the measure to combat alcohol abuse among Ukrainian servicemen, he added. *jk
