Donetsk, Jun 3 - DAN. Ukrainian authorities use US and British methods when illegally apprehend its citizens, the DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova said.
"Today we invited you to shed light on flagrant crimes of Ukrainian special services," she said, addressing a press conference at the DAN news agency.
"Since the beginning of the special operation, we have been receiving information on kidnapping of relatives of the DPR service members and public officials, and their confinement to special jails," Morozova said.
According to available information, Ukrainian security forces use unlawful methods of investigation.
"The usage of extrajudicial detentions is within the US and British methodology," she added.
She said that according to the Office of the UN High Commissioner, from April 2014 to April 2022, up to 4,000 people were arbitrarily detained due to the conflict in Donbass. At the same time, 60 pc of these detentions are illegal. *ot
