Donetsk, May 17 - DAN. More than 100 graves of Ukrainian armed formations gunmen are found in the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR ombudswoman Darya Morozova told the Donetsk News Agency.

“There are more than 100 graves of Ukrainian soldiers in our territory,” Morozova said. “Their exhumation causes certain legal problems as it requires permission of law-enforcement bodies; also, relatives have to come, so this mechanism is much more complex.”

On May 7, Donetsk and Kiev carried out the first mutual handover of bodies of servicemen killed in battlefields since the beginning of the special operation.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation aimed at demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine. On the same day, the DPR and LPR militias supported by Russian forces began to liberate the occupied areas of Donbass. The DPR militia report big enemy manpower losses which amount to dozens of killed daily.*jk
