“In my opinion, western mass media have been pro-active in creating ‘an information tsunami around the leaked documents’ which suggests a plot, ” Pushilin wrote on Telegram. “Who knows, they might be preparing the international community for possible cuts in Ukraine aid ahead of the hyped counter-offensive by Ukrainian armed formations.”
The documents need a check; their publication “can well be a double game, ” he said.
Earlier reports said that leaked Pentagon documents posted online could contain information on Ukrainian losses, fighting efficiency and army attrition. According to leaked information, Kiev had to deploy elite units to Artyomovsk in March to avoid encirclement.
