Donetsk, Jul 16 – DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire four times over the past 24 hours, the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) said.
Kiev forces also violated the ban on engineer activity at positions.
“Over the past 24 hours, the number of registered violations was four, the number of rounds fired was 40 (of 12.7 mm caliber and higher)″.
Three townships were targeted with mortars and grenade launchers. Two explosions attributed to engineer activity were reported in Nevelskoye north-west of Donetsk.
The Additional Measures to Strengthen the Ceasefire were signed at the Contact Group meeting on July 22 to reinforce and control the indefinite ceasefire in effect since July 21, 2019, the latest in the series of more than 20 reconfirmation and announcements of the “silence regime”.
