Donetsk, Nov 24 – DAN. The joint commission on monitoring and control of safety conditions of enterprises and vital infrastructure in Donbass temporary controlled by Ukraine has examined over 170 eligible objects since it was launched, said the director of civil protection department of the DPR Emergencies ministry Vadim Kapustin.
"Throughout 2017, the joint commission has carried out complex examinations of over 170 enterprises and vital infrastructure affecting environment and population of 16 cities, 81 townships, which constituted 99 pc of the DPR territory currently under Ukraine's control," he said.
He added that the commission had had 30 meetings to discuss ecological situation in Selidovskaya, Dobropolskaya, Krasnolimanskaya, Slavyanskaya, Kramatorskaya, Druzhkovskaya, Konstantinovskaya, Artemovskaya, Krasnoarmeiskaya, Yuzhnodonbasskaya, Mariupolskaya industrial parks.
Kapustin said that the data collected are being sent to the World Federation of Trade Unions and are also regularly reviewed at the humanitarian working group meetings in Minsk.
The joint commission on monitoring and control of safety conditions of enterprises and vital infrastructure in Donbass was established by the DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko’s decree within the scope of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian program. It comprises representatives of all dedicated ministries, department and government services, as well as scientists and activists. *ot
