Donetsk, Jun 12 — DAN. Construction workers have completed the repairs of the Volnovakha town hospital which was damaged during hostilities, district administration head Konstantin Zinchenko told the Donetsk News Agency on Monday.
The repairs lasted some 11 months; the first two hospital buildings were repaired last year. “The departments have been commissioned for hospital admissions to begin; earlier, doctors received people in tents, ” Zinchenko said. “The facility has diagnostic equipment, an in-patient 100-bed section and auxiliary units like dining halls and cubicles.”
Russia’s Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous area sponsored the rebuilding works. The hospital has an area of 7500 square meters and can admit up to 600 people a day.
The rebuilding of the central district hospital in Volnovakha is due to be completed by yearend.*jk
