Donetsk, Jul 29 – DAN. Voda Donbassa water company has restored water mains of Seversky Donets – Donbass duct in Gorlovka, damaged by Ukrainian shelling, the Ministry of Construction and Public Utilities said.
"Experts of the Regional Department of the Duct Operation of the Voda Donbassa water company have completed the repairs of the Seversky Donets – Donbass water duct. All three pipes are relaunched. Water supply to all the towns across the Republic is restored and normal."
The duct was damaged on July 22 limiting water supply across the region.
The SDD water duct is the key water facility in Donbass. It routinely comes under shelling by Ukrainian forces, which leave population without water supply and damage vital infrastructure. *ot*pp
