Donetsk, Jun 29 – DAN.  The Ukrainian People’s Tribunal for Poroshenko’s regime war crimes against Ukrainian citizens (UPT) has sent the full text of sentence to the convicts, the UPT chairwoman Elena Shishkina said.

"The full text of the sentence has been sent to the convicts in accordance with the Ukrainian law."

She said the sentence is to be enforced by the Ukrainian court after the change of power in the country and to serve as a basis for international bodies investigating Poroshenko's regime crimes.

The Tribunal has decided that the secretary of the national security and defense council of Ukraine Aleksandr Turchynov, chairman of the Verkhovnaya Rada Andrey Parubiy, prime minister Vladimir Groisman, ex-prime-minster Arseniy Yatsenyuk, minister of internal affairs Arsen Avakov, defense minister Stepan Poltorak, Ukraine’s president Petr Poroshenko, commander-in-chief of the armed forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko are guilty of a bunch of crimes, including unleashing of war, genocide, terrorism, etc.

The Tribunal sentenced them to life in prison with the forfeiture of property.

The judges have examined over a thousand of court files on war crimes of the Ukrainian current political regime against the people of Donbass. The UPT divided the cases under its jurisdiction into blocks: using armed forces against civilians, tortures, blockade, formation of illegal armed groups, genocide and others. The Tribunal was established by the initiative group of Donetsk and Lugansk residents to review the cases in accordance with the Ukrainian law and international standards. *ot
