Donetsk, May 26 – DAN. The allocation committee of the United Donbass Foundation registered 230 applications for financial aid from residents of the Kiev-controlled Donbass, said the chairman of the foundation Oleg Balykin.

"At the moment the commission of the United Donbass Foundation reviews 230 applications. Of those, 22 were received and passed to us by Donbass Post in accordance with the existing agreement between us. Payments to people who found themselves in a  difficult situation will be allocated soon in accordance with the commission's decisions."

"We accept application from both residents of Donbass living in the Republics and in Kiev-controlled territory," the Donbass Post said.

The Donbass Post and the United Donbass Foundation signed an agreement on cooperation for the period from May 20 to September 30, 2017. All post offices and the centers for social aid and administrative services accept applications for receiving financial aid.

The United Donbass Foundation was launched on March 9 within the framework of the humanitarian program for the reunification of Donbass people, endorsed by DPR and LPR Heads.

On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial and aid assistance and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched. *ot
