Donetsk, Apr 10 - DAN. The United DonbassFoundation has paid one-time benefits to more than 780 needy residents of the region since the beginning of this year, Foundation chairman Oleg Balykin told the Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.

“As of April 10, 2018, 782 applicants have been paid a total of 28,268,800 rubles worth of financial aid as part of the implementation of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme,” Balykin said.

The Foundation has paid more than 71.3 million rubles worth of benefits to 2,255 residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic and Kiev held-areas since the start of its operation.

The Donetsk People’s Republic launched the United Donbass Foundation on March 9, 2017. It provides cash payments as well as food and medications which can also be contributed by DPR residents. *jk
