Donetsk, Apr 18 - DAN. United Donbass Foundation, set up on DPR head Alexander Zakharchenko's orders as a crucial body in implementing the humanitarian programme, has approved the procedure for receiving assistance and the eligibility criteria.
“The Foundation’s commission had its first session today; it will review applications for assistance from residents of the whole Donbass region,” Foundation head Vadim Yengalychev told a news briefing at Donetsk News Agency on Tuesday.
“The commission approved the procedure for receiving aid and the groups of citizens in difficult circumstances who are entitled to assistance,” Yengalychev said.
The information on recipients, documents and procedure will be available on the Donbass reunification humanitarian programme centre website.
“For residents’ convenience, applications can be submitted in electronic form as scanned copies sent to the designated e-mail address or passed in person,” he added.
The foundation head said that the Commission would review every application. The amount of financial assistance depends on circumstances or the nature of problem the applicant is facing. The aid can be provided as payments or supplies of food, medicines, etc.
On February 17, DPR and LPR Heads Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitskiy launched the program of humanitarian assistance to residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donbass. The main goal of the programme is to support socially vulnerable groups.
A hotline and a website were launched to simplify the application procedure and provide online consultations for residents of Kiev-controlled part of Donbass.*jk
