Donetsk, Feb 14 - DAN. Residents of the Dolomitnoye township outside Gorlovka were left without electricity as Ukrainian forces shelled the area, Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Thursday.
“30th Brigade gunmen under the command of war criminal Ivan Garaza shelled Dolomitnoye in northern Gorlovka with four 120mm mortar rounds,” Bezsonov said. “The strikes damaged the transmission line again causing a power outage in the settlement.”
A similar incident happened in Dolomitnoye in the evening of February 11. A transmission line was damaged; the power supply was restored later.
The Donbass contact line situation has worsened this week. On February 13 afternoon, Ukrainian forces shelled the Donetsk airport area and southern villages of the Donetsk People’s Republic with mortars. The Ukrainian army has been delivering massive strikes on all axes since Wednesday evening; on Thursday morning, nearly 100 mortar rounds were fired at the DPR territory in an hour.*jk
