Donetsk, Aug 16 – DAN. Ukrainian sniper fired at public utilities workers carrying out repairs at the Mayorsk checkpoint north of Gorlovka, said acting local administration head Ivan Prikhodko.
"DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko ordered to carry out some renovations at the check point. Today at 9.28 a.m. a Ukrainian sniper opened fire on the workers on the roof of a public building."
There were six workers on the roof, all of them managed to take shelter safely.
The Ukrainian army violated the ceasefire 56 times over the last 24 hours, leaving five townships in southern DPR without power and damaging a house in western Donetsk. *ot
