Donetsk, Mar 21 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire seven times over the past 24 hours firing more than 40 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire seven times expending 44 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Fire was delivered at the Volvo Centre area in northern Donetsk, the Abakumov Colliery neighbourhood in western Donetsk, Yasinovataya and the Yakovlevka and Vasilyevka neighbourhoods in the outskirts of the town, he said adding that the enemy had used mortars, grenade launchers and small arms.

A new comprehensive, lasting and indefinite ceasefire came into force in Donbass at 01:01 on March 8, 2019. The "spring ceasefire" was agreed by the Contact Group in Minsk.*jk
