Donetsk, Jan 30 – DAN. Ukrainian army units have violated the ceasefire almost 190 times firing 15 hundred rounds of ammunition at the Donetsk People’s Republic since the previous meeting of the Contact Group in Minsk on January 17, 2019. The statistics were presented at the Contact Group security subgroup meeting in Minsk on Wednesday, Donetsk People’s Republic representative at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said.

"Over the period from January 17 to January 30, 186 ceasefire violations by Ukraine have been recorded."

Ukraine expended 4.05 tons (74.4 ammunition boxes) of rounds, firing the total of 1,479 shells. Over the reporting period, one facility, one residential houses and two vehicles were damaged. The most intensely shelled areas were Donetsk outskirts, Gorlovka, Yasinovataya, Dokuchayevsk, southern areas.

The Contact Group in Minsk held another round of Donbass peace talks on Wednesday.*ot
