Donetsk, Sep 5 - DAN. Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 13 times over the past 24 hours targeting nine frontline settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic, DPR Operations Command spokesman Daniil Bezsonov said on Wednesday.
“Over the past 24 hours, the enemy violated the ceasefire 13 times shelling nine settlements in our Republic,” Bezsonov said adding that fire had been delivered at Spartak, Staromikhailovka, Trudovskiye, Petrovskoye in suburban Donetsk, Shakhta 6/7, Zheleznaya Balka on the Gorlovka axis, and Kominternovo, Sakhanka and Dzerzhinskoye in southern DPR.
Ukrainian army units used grenade launchers, large calibre machine guns and small arms.
The new ceasefire agreed by the Contract Group for peaceful Donbass conflict settlement came into force at 00:01 on August 29. According to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination, the Ukrainian army violated the new truce three hours after it came into force as they shelled the Golmovskiy frontline village in northern Gorlovka.*jk
