Donetsk, Sep 3 - DAN. Five houses burnt down as Ukrainian forces shelled the Zaitsevo village in the outskirts of Gorlovka, local administration head Irina Dikun told the Donetsk News Agency on Monday.
“The Ukrainian army targeted Zaitsevo with incendiary ammunition. The Donetsk People’s Republic rescue services were unable to reach the scene. Five houses and two utility sheds in Yesenin Street burnt down,” Dikun said.
There were no civilian casualties, she added.
The contact line in Donbass has been quiet in the past three days; no strikes by Ukrainian forces have been recorded.
The new ceasefire agreed by the Contract Group for peaceful Donbass conflict settlement, came into force at 00:01 on August 29.*jk
