Donetsk, Feb 19 - DAN. Ukrainian forces shelled the Vasilyevka pumping area outside Yasinovataya during shift change, the Donetsk People’s Republic Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported on Tuesday.
“Ukrainian armed formations fired on the Yuzhnodonbasskiy duct’s 1st level pumping station area during shift change,” the JCCC said. “As of now, the station personnel has left the fire zone.”
There were no casualties, according to preliminary reports. Damage assessment is underway. The strikes were delivered with mortars and grenade launchers, it added.
The Vasilyevka pumping station is located in the Vasilyevka settlement outside Yasinovataya. It services the Yuzhnodonbasskiy water duct supplying water to residents on both sides of the contact line.*jk*pp
