Donetsk, Aug 13 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours, firing nearly 160 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times expending 159 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

The Spartak village outside Donetsk and the Sakhanka and Kominternovo villages in southern DPR were targeted with 120mm and 82mm mortars, infantry fighting vehicle cannons and large calibre machine guns.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Earlier reports on Tuesday said that eight houses in southern DPR had been damaged by Ukrainian army strikes.

In the previous reporting period, two ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces were recorded.*jk
