Donetsk, Jun 25 - DAN. Ukrainian army units have fired nearly 1,000 rounds of ammunition massing some six tons at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas over the past week, head of the DPR mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.
“Ukrainian forces fired 986 rounds at the DPR territory in the period from June 18 till June 24. That makes six tons or 96.5 boxes (of ammunition),” Yakubov said.
Kiev’s army delivered fire with tank guns, artillery and mortars. Overall, 206 82mm, 120mm, 122mm and 125mm rounds were fired. Four civilians were wounded and eight houses and infrastructure facilities were damaged in the reporting period.*jk
