Donetsk, Jun 12 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired nearly 60 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas over the past 24 hours, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.
“Overall, Ukrainian army units expended 58 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.
The outskirts of Donetsk, Dokuchayevsk, Gorlovka and the southern Leninskoye and Kominternovo villages came under Ukrainian forces fire, he added.
The JCCC recorded six ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces over the reporting period.
Earlier reports said that houses had been damaged by Ukrainian forces strikes at the Alexandrovka neighbourhood in western Donetsk and Dokuchayevsk. On Monday morning, three civilians were wounded in northern Donetsk shelling by the Ukrainian army. Medics said that the victims were in medium severity condition.*jk
