Donetsk, May 3 - DAN. Ukrainian forces fired more than 480 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas over the past 24 hours, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) Ruslan Yakubov said on Thursday.

“Ukrainian army units expended 483 rounds of ammunition targeting the outskirts of Donetsk, Yasinovataya and Gorlovka and the Bezymennoye, Leninskoye and Dzerzhinskoye villages in southern DPR,” Yakubov said.

Overall, 20 ceasefire violations by Ukrainian forces were recorded over the past 24 hours. In the previous reporting period, they expended 462 rounds of ammunition firing at DPR areas, he added.

The “Easter ceasefire” proposed by DPR Head Alexander Zakharchenko came into effect in Donbass on March 30. It lasted slightly more than nine hours.*jk
