Donetsk, Mar 5 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 22 times over the past 24 hours firing 442 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic areas, head of the DPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Tuesday.

“Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 22 times expending 442 rounds of ammunition,” Yakubov said.

Strikes were delivered at the Volvo Centre area, the Zhabichevo, Spartak, Alexandrovka and Staromikhailovka villages outside Donetsk, Gorlovka, the Zaitsevo, Dolomitnoye, Gagarin Colliery, Verkhnetoretskoye and Golmovskiy settlements, Yasinovataya and its Krutaya Balka neighbourhood and the Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Sakhanka villages in southern DPR, he added.

The enemy used 120mm and 82mm mortars and high calibre small arms. Two houses and a non-operational dining hall in Sakhanka and four houses in Staromikhailovka sustained damage.

The amount of expended ammunition of calibre up to 12.7mm is not added to overall daily statistics.

Some 200 customers in Sakhanka and Kominternovo were left without electricity on Tuesday morning as a result of shelling, a Novoazovskiy district administration official told the Donetsk News Agency. An updated JCCC report said Ukrainian army units had delivered strikes with heavy mortars firing 25 120mm rounds overall.*jk
