Donetsk, Feb 13 – DAN. Kiev forces have opened mortar fire on Sakhanka, Zhabichevo and Spartak today firing 20 shells in half an hour, the DPR mission to the JCCC said.
"At 11.40 and 11.45 shelling was recorded on the direction of Opytnoye – Spartak/Peski – Zhabichevo. Three and five 82 mm mortar rounds were fired, correspondingly."
At 12.20 a shelling was recorded on the direction of Sakhanka, where a dozen of 82 mm and 120 mm rounds were fired.
In the morning, as the JCCC reports, Ukraine shelled Yasinovataya, Donetsk airport area, Sosnovskoye, Leninskoye, Veseloye using IFV-1, IFV-2, grenade launchers, large caliber machine guns and small arms.
Today another round of the Minsk talks is taking place.
Security situation in Donbass remains tense as Kiev forces regularly launch shelling along the contact line. Lately, shelling incidents involving 120 mm mortars have become more common. DPR People's Militia has addressed the OSCE to stabilize the situation. *ot
