Donetsk, Aug 13 - DAN. Ukrainian army units violated the ceasefire 40 times over the past week firing more than 720 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic frontline areas, head of the DPR Mission to the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination Ruslan Yakubov said on Monday.
“Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire 40 times from August 6 till August 12 firing 722 rounds of ammunition massing 4.38 tons (86 boxes in all),” Yakubov said.
One person was wounded in shelling and damage to 20 structures was recorded. The enemy used large calibre mortars and tank guns. A total of 212 mortar rounds and nine tank gun rounds were fired, he added.
Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire ten times over the past 24 hours, firing 159 rounds at DPR frontline areas.*jk
