Donetsk, Jul 26 — DAN. Ukrainian armed formations have fired about 260 rounds of ammunition at Donetsk People’s Republic settlements on Tuesday.
Military situation
Ukrainian armed formation opened fire at the fuel and lubricants depot in Donetsk’s Budyonnovsky district at around 2:20. The strike caused a fire which destroyed six fuel tanks. The blaze was only extinguished at 12:30. Military experts said that the enemy had used a US-made M412 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System firing three M31 GMLRS missiles at the vital infrastructure facility.
At daytime, Ukrainian gunmen repeatedly delivered strikes at Donetsk’s Kievsky, Kirovsky, Kuibyshevsky and Petrovsky districts, Yasinovataya, Gorlovka, Novobakhmutovka, Mineralnoye, Verkhnetoretskoye, Golmovsky, Panteleimonovka and Dolomitnoye. The enemy used “Grad” multiple rocket launchers, cannon artillery and mortars.
Four civilians including a teenager were wounded. Damage was caused to the Republican Clinical Psychiatric Hospital in Donetsk and single family and apartment buildings.
Coalition forces continue the mopping up operation against Ukrainian armed formations at the Uglegorsk thermal power plant outside Svetlodarsk. DPR forces have already taken the enterprise under control.
Humanitarian situation
The repairs of the Voda Donbassa state unitary enterprise administration building in Yasinovataya are nearing completion. The building was damaged by two projectiles fired by Ukrainian armed formations. Specialists have repaired 466 square meters of roof.
Another 1,000-litre industrial water tank was installed in the town. It was placed in Kommunalnaya Street next to the Gloria shop.
Window repairs continue at Makeyevka’s kindergarten No 191. On Tuesday, 30 metal and aluminum widow units were delivered there. Installation works have been launched.
International Committee of the Red Cross personnel distributed hygiene and food packages to residents of Sartana which was temporarily included in the responsibility zone of the Novoazovsk district.

Head of the DPR Emergencies Ministry, Civil Defense Lt-Gen Alexey Kostrubitsky handed in decorations and badges of honor to State Fire Inspectorate and Crisis Management Centre personnel.
CMC officer Alexander Kiryan was awarded a medal “For Saving Life” and his colleagues Igor Dekhtyar and Yevgeny Leschinsky received “For Firefighter Courage” medals. Commemorative badges marking the 95th anniversary of the State Fire Inspectorate were awarded to 12 people.
Children from DPR frontline areas went to the Moscow region for recreation. They will stay there till August 25.
The DPR Communications Ministry announced transition to Russian country code +7 (856) starting August 1.
