Donetsk, Apr 11 - DAN. Overnight shelling by Ukrainian forces left some 400 houses in Dokuchayevsk without electricity, town administration head Alexander Kachanov told Donetsk News Agency.

“At night, the town came under Ukrainian forces fire; as a result a high-voltage power line was damaged which left some 400 houses without electricity,” Kachanov said.

Repair teams are on their way to the shelled area. No casualties have been reported.
An earlier report said a Dokuchayevsk kindergarten was shelled by Ukrainian forces on Monday afternoon. An incendiary round hit the children’s quarters starting a fire, but it was extinguished quickly. Miraculously, none of the children had been hurt, Kachanov said. *jk
