Donetsk, Dec 29 – DAN. Ukraine still holds 290 DPR supporters, the Ombudswoman's office said.

"As of 29 December 2017, Ukraine still holds 290 DPR supporters; 79 of them are confirmed to be in Ukraine, the information on 211 is either has been requested or unavailable."

Another 444 people are listed as missing. Some of them might be held in captivity in Ukraine, the Ombudswoman's office said.

Earlier DPR Ombudswoman Daria Morozova said that 18 DPR supporters had been detained by Ukrainian special services this month.

The major prisoner swap between Donbass and Ukraine tookplace on December 27 at Mayorsk checkpoint north of Gorlovka. First, Lugansk representatives exchanged 16 Ukrainian prisoners for 73 LPR supporters at the Ukrainian side of the contact line; then DPR and Kiev swapped over 200 POWs in total at the Republic's side of the checkpoint.

The POWs swap on the 'all for all' basis is one of the key provisions of the Minsk Agreements. *ot
