Donetsk, Apr 10 – DAN. Ukraine has not allowed the Coordinator of the Humanitarian working group Ambassador Toni Frisch to meet prisoners held in a number of Ukrainian penitentiary facilities, said DPR Ombudswoman representing DPR in the humanitarian group Daria Morozova.
"The OSCE representative said that he had not been allowed into three penitentiary facilities," she said.
Nevertheless, he managed to talk to six prisoners of war. The overall number of prisoners Frisch has talked to is not specified.
Earlier reports said that Kiev's representatives in the Contact Group failed to show up for today's meeting.
Ambassador Toni Frisch visited the DPR on April 5. He talked to Ukrainian POWs in Donetsk detention center and met the relatives of those who are kept in Ukraine. He said that the living conditions in the Donetsk facility were satisfactory and voiced hope for the soonest prisoner exchange. *ot
