Donetsk, Aug 8 – DAN. Two servicemen of the Ukrainian 128th mountain assault brigade have been injured when they triggered a tripwire booby-trap outside Donetsk, said the head of the DPR Armed Forces press service Daniil Bezsonov.
"For the second time this week an (explosion) accident happened in the 128th mountain assault brigade which replaced the 93rd brigade on the Donetsk axis. Two privates of the 2nd battalion went to a stream to wash clothes and exploded on a RGD-5 tripwire booby-trap installed by their predecessors."
The injured have been taken to the 61st military hospital of the Ukrainian armed forces. The brigade commander reported the accident to the HQ saying the personnel sustained wounds during a DPR attack.
A similar accident happened on August 4 when two Ukrainian soldiers exploded on a booby-trap outside Starognatovka (Volnovakha area, 4.5 km from the contact line) as the newly arrived troops were not provided with minefield maps.*ot
