Two Dokuchayevsk schools come under Ukrainian forces fire, damage reported

Donetsk, Feb 14 - DAN. Two schools were damaged in Dokuchayevsk in shelling by Ukrainian forces on Wednesday afternoon, DPR Operations Command said.

“The strike at Dokuchayevsk damaged the school at 65 Lenina Street (a hit at the teachers’ room, wrecked frontage and windows) and the boarding school at 40 Lenina Street (a hit at the dormitory block),” the Operations Command said in a report.

A hair saloon sustained shelling damage as well.

Dokuchayevsk administration officials told Donetsk News Agency that the schoolchildren and staff were evacuated to a bomb shelter when the schools came under fire.

Earlier reports said Ukrainian forces delivered a strike at Dokuchayevsk on Wednesday afternoon. There were no casualties, according to preliminary information.*jk
