Donetsk, Oct 3 — DAN. The Donetsk People’s Republic Supreme Court has passed guilty verdicts on three Ukrainian servicemen who shelled homes in Mariupol in March 2022, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee reported on Tuesday.

“Nationalistic regiment ‘Azov’ Junior Sergeant Vladislav Kurke and Privates First Class Pavel Stepanov and Sergey Shevele were found guilty of cruel treatment of civilians, use of banned means and methods in armed conflict and attempted hate murder, ” the SK said.

Investigators said that the servicemen used the Army SOS application to hit three homes at maximum mortar range. They fired at least 100 fragmentation rounds ruining the houses. There were no civilian casualties.

Kurke, Stepanov and Shevel were sentenced to 22 years in a maximum security prison.*jk
