Donetsk, May 25 — DAN. The first Russian taxi company has officially launched operation in Mariupol in the Donetsk People’s Republic, city mayor Oleg Morgun said on Thursday.

“Mariupol has a new taxi service. It was launched jointly with ‘Bastion’ Group President Denis Sechkin, ” the mayor said. “Fifty new taxis with nice fares are available: 150 rubles for a trip up to three kilometers.”

The taxi company will create jobs for 100 people, Morgun said. 

The company whose head office is located in Krasnodar runs its own maintenance center in Mariupol. Eight taxi companies currently operate in the maritime city.*jk
