Donetsk, Sep 14 — DAN. Sponsor regions have repaired more than 1,700 infrastructure facilities in the Donetsk People’s Republic since the beginning of this year, the DPR Construction and Utilities Ministry reported on Thursday.

“Repairs have been completed on 1,758 of 2,559 facilities. Construction companies continue working on the remaining 536, ” the Ministry said. “These are rebuilding projects for implementation in 2023.”

 Plans for 2024 are in the works; the number of facilities slated for renovation is not available yet, the Ministry’s press service told the Donetsk News Agency. 

Twenty-six Russian regions are helping the DPR to rebuild its infrastructure. The works are carried out under cooperation agreements concluded with local administrations.  More than 26,000 specialists and 2,324 pieces of equipment are involved in DPR rebuilding projects.*jk
