Donetsk, Aug 3 — DAN. Seven cultural centers have been rebuilt in the Donetsk People’s Republic with the assistance of Russian sponsor regions since the beginning of this year, DPR Acting Deputy Prime Minister Larisa Tolstykina said on Thursday.
“We fully renovated two art schools and three community centers in the first half of this year; seven in total in Donetsk, Mariupol and the Volnovakha and Novoazovsk districts, ” Tolstykina said.
Repairs are running on another 17 cultural facilities, she said. Construction teams from Moscow, St Petersburg, Republic of Sakha, Primorsky Krai (Territory), Sakhalin region and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area are involved in DPR rebuilding projects.
Earlier reports said that two dozen cultural facilities including countryside community centers would be repaired in the DPR by yearend.*jk
