Donetsk, Dec 27 — DAN. A four-month training course in the rehabilitation of children with locomotor problems has been launched for specialists from the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Rostov region, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova said on Tuesday.

“Sixty specialists from the Rostov region and DPR will take a four-month program in rehabilitation of children with musculoskeletal disorders, ” Lvova-Belova wrote on Telegram. “They will mostly focus on drilling skills in the use of modern standards. Directors, doctors and rehabilitation and occupational therapists will benefit from the experience of best rehabilitation centers, get acquainted with top experts in this field, and use the knowledge they have gained in case study workshops.”

The gained experience will enable the program participants to develop rehabilitation models for children at their medical centers. Rehabilitation materials and equipment will be donated to the participants upon course completion.

“The project is implemented by the Igra (Game) Charity Foundation which relies on presidential grants and the support of the institution of children’s ombudspersons and Rostov region and DPR authorities.*jk
