Donetsk, Dec 20 — DAN. Children from the new regions will be able to participate again in the all-Russia “Cultural Card 4+85” sightseeing tour program next year, a Donetsk People’s Republic government official said on Wednesday.
“Almost 2,500 talented children from the DPR aged 9 to 17 have seen the key places of interest in Moscow and St Petersburg since the program start in September, ” DPR government deputy chairperson Larisa Tolstykina said adding that this program would be available for DPR youths in 2024.
The program is implemented at the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Culture. The participants visited the Great Moscow Circus, saw the Zapashny Brothers circus show in St Petersburg and a performance in the Mariinsky Theater and went to other famous theatres. They also toured the Peter and Paul Fortress, the State Museum-Reserve “Gatchina”, Kronstadt and the Tsarskoye Selo imperial family residence.*jk
