Donetsk, Jan 26 — DAN. Some 30,000 construction industry workers and 2,500 pieces of special purpose equipment are involved in Donetsk People’s Republic rebuilding projects, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities said on Thursday following a meeting between head of the department Irek Faizullin and DPR Acting Head Denis Pushilin.
“As of now, 258 social infrastructure facilities and 529 apartment buildings have been restored in the Republic, ” the press service said. “Rebuilding efforts currently involve 30,000 workers and 2,463 pieces of equipment.”
One of the items on the agenda of the meeting addressed the drawing of applications for the 8th All-Russia contest for the best projects to create comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements. The DPR will take part in the contest for the first time.
Earlier on Thursday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin ordered to approve the new regions rebuilding plans for 2023 by mid-February.*jk
