Donetsk, Feb 8 — DAN. Construction materials to rebuild 4,000 single-family houses have been delivered to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, and a new batch to repair another 5,000 is due to arrive, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin said on Wednesday.
“Repairs of apartment buildings and single-family homes remain a priority in the new regions, ” Khusnullin said in a post on Telegram. “To speed up the repairs, centralized supplies of construction materials to the LPR and the DPR have been organized.”
“The delivered materials can be used to repair almost 4,000 houses, and a new batch is being prepared for another 5,000 households, ” he said.
Earlier reports said that the Russian Construction Ministry had helped the DPR rebuild 529 apartment houses.*jk
