Donetsk, Apr 6 – DAN. The Romani culture festival Ame-Roma aimed at supporting ethnic groups culture is to kick off on April 20 in Donetsk Youth Theatre.
The statement released by the Gypsy Folk Theatre director Luiza Zhemchuzhnaya says the festival is featuring artists and musicians from both Donbass and Kiev-controlled territories. I twill also house round tables on gypsy culture and allocate the total of 375 thousand roubles of grants for development and support of national cultural traditions among its participants.
The applications for participation are to include names and contacts and to be sent to [email protected].
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads approved the humanitarian aid program aimed to assist people living in Kiev-controlled territories. The main objective is to provide financial aid and educational assistance to vulnerable social groups. On February 21 the program was officially presented to people, hotlines and websites associated with the program were launched.*ot
