Donetsk, Oct 12 - DAN. Kiev's ongoing shelling impedes restoration of power supply to five villages in DPR south, said acting head of Novoazovskiy district administration Anatoliy Yanovskiy.
"Power is out in Sergeyevka, Leninskoe, Dzerzhinskoye, Zaichenko, Kominternovo, Novaya Tavriya. Utility workers can not start recovery efforts, as they start moving to the emergency area Kiev forces start shelling it," he said.
DPR Defence Ministry earlier addressed OSCE asking to provide "silence regime" in DPR south areas to restore electricity there, cut-off by Ukrainian fire as well as gas supply. The affected area includes Kominternovo, Novaya Tavriya, Zaichenko, Sakhanka and Sergeevka. Community services managed to restore power only in a part of Sakhanka.
DPR southern villages came under intense fire from Ukrainian side on October, 11 night, killing civilian woman and wounding another, some houses sustained damage.
